Why It Matters
Prevention is the whole point.
Most incidents on the water are preventable, and most of what ends up in our waterways got there through habit rather than intent. Both respond to the same thing: patient, hands-on education delivered by people the community already knows.
That is the work supporters make possible — teaching boating safety, running community programs, and keeping local shorelines clear.

Reduced-cost seats in fundamentals courses for families who would otherwise skip formal training entirely.
Clean-up supplies
Gloves, grabbers, sorting bins, and safe disposal for the debris our volunteer crews pull off the shoreline.

Open houses and on-water days that stay free to attend, including venue costs and instructor time.
